Hey Bill, I don't have spares anymore. Send a PM to gottaluvlasers, he should be able to hook you up. They are relatively inexpensive, if I remember correctly.

    Default Thanks for the help

    Hello

Thanks DZ and Allthat for the advice. I have talked to Marc, and ordered another set of DT-40s.I am planning another single color projector(like Stukas Jolly Green) so I'll need another set of scanners sooner or later.I was worried there might be something else wrong with my scanners besides the power supply, so this will get me back up and lasering.
    Thanks again for your help

    Bill-

Why dont you give me a call tonight. After 5-6. I will check to see if i have a spare supply. I dont think i do actually. but i will check when i get back to CT. (away right now). If i have a spare, ill just send it with your new scanners. these +24V/-24V power supplies are a pain in the arse to get!

You could always use 2 seperate 24v supplies to get the split rails.. Just a option :-)

just out of curiosty, WHY are these +24V/-24V supplies like almost unheard of with power supply manufacturers?

Seems like a pretty common supply needed. Am i wrong?

I would say because, other than running laser scanners, there isn't really a need for them. Most analogue chips don't use supply rails above +/-18v, and the real use for the LM3886 is audio, and you typically use a linear power supply with audio..

Just my thoughts, I might have missed something..
