Glad the 3D caught your eye :-)

converting 3D to laser is not a simple thing. Basically you need some sort of a cartoon render-er with vector output. The vector output can then be converted to laser frames.

The 3D stuff I work on has been named laserGL ;-) It is not based on openGL but it has been made so the function calls to manipulate the 3D world are *very* similar to openGL so someone with openGL coding skills could easily code with this laser library. Possibly openGL code can be converted to laserGL code without too much effort. However, the 3D mesh / object data is a bit different in nature.

This could be the rumor you heard of ;-)

    do you code yourself?

Im not good at coding no...
i will learn coding on a special school.
i haven't got the chance to master coding yet :/

and woa.. that's where the rumor came from XD
    just saw lazymame.
    Thats awsome.

I do have 3Dmax and alot of plugins..
however i dont have a clue on how to save it as vectorized material.
i had an trail version of a cartoon renderer *I forgot the name but i can easly look it up*

so you mean rendering and then tracing?
or do you really mean a format ?

Just out of curiosity........ how are you thinking of controlling this RGB projector if you manage to find it on that budget?

I think he means New Zealand Dollars! = €0.53 so well over your budget

Look right on his post and you can see where he is posting from.

Why don't you tell us about the one you have found? People on this forum can probably advise you if there is anything fishy about it!

    Cheers and good luck

Who is the projector manufactured by ?

Sounds OK for the price, but if it is a LW projector don't take the supposed power ratings too seriously (unless you can measure them).
Also remember that these powers are often measured at the diode modules output NOT at the projector's output (ie. after the scanners).
With LW scanners you often lose 50% of power if you don't replace their mirrors.

Regarding the blue I think you are better off getting the blue separately later on since cheap 455nm blue modules will start showing up very soon especially if you want such low powers.

    Good luck
    Cheers
