This goes back to the jellybeaning Adam was talking about. My Kvant even has it fairly bad after the viasho green was replaced by the Kvant green. Addin a color correction board is about the only way to resolve it.

So you still have the problem even with the kvant green?
I hear color correction boards are hard to set up?
    Who sells them?
So there's no ther way to slow down just red

    Thanks

Yea, the Kvant has a ramp up problem; my last green had what looked like several modulation problems. This green looks much better but it seems to have a much bigger problem when a frame starts with green, or yellow, or cyan or white...

Getting a color correction board is a bit tricky now; they are not made anymore. I need one myself and plan on hounding DZ at SELEM until he throws one together.

    Default Eyemagic IRIS ColorSafe

    Hi guys,

I bought an Eyemagic IRIS Colorsafe Colour Correction/safety board a few months back.
    http://www.eyemagic.gr/laser-iris-colorsafe.html

    It was €550.
Depending on which part of the world you are in, contact One Stop Laser Shop or Tom at Eyemagic.

Im taking my sweet ass time in the planning/saving/learning phase of my projector build so I can't vouch for the setup process but it looks pretty straight forward from the instructions. The board has a row of dip seiches for delaying each colour.

When the green is cold its efficiency isn't as good as after you have been scanning for a bit

What is the green in question?

I also have a Kvant that originally had a LaserWave with the same problem you describe having with the green Kvant. I got the green replaced with a Kvant one and now the green comes full instantly but I get some serious blanking tails if I don't dail it down to half which give me a pretty good white.
