Default Kit / Mount to combine two red diodes

    Hi All,

Im looking around to find out who would have a mount to combine two reds ... Relatively cheap pricing would be good ... Knife Edge or PBS

    Cheers

I can supply 2 diode mounts and a mini brass mount that would work fine with either a mirror to knife edge, or a PBS attached to it..

Dave's diode mounts are defintely the shizzle. I've got a couple I'm building with right now...

You'll just need to ensure the correct alignment for the diode and mirror mounts, though combining 2 is way easier than 4! I guess this is the advantage with a kit like Edison's.

    Want to have a dual?

Here,s one When combining 4 its not that diffecult when having the right setup. Hobbybob has worked with my mounts and they are very stable. Also the position of the mounts are fixed in the base plate so sliding toward the diode goes always straight. My new prototype including beamtable is quad with beamtable so i can build a 4watt of blue. The lenses that are used determine the beamspec so i build a testsetup to test 20 lenses to find out what the best lens is for the blue diode. I guess a FL between 4 and 4.6 will be the best but i want proof.
