An additional caveat concerning the v7 firmware update -

If you're using them, TraceIT, LiveQuick, and the LA Studio suite also have to be upgraded along with QuickShow.
They're free for the asking from Pangolin.

    Default QS 2 (beta) versions.....

I have been using QS2 for some weeks now and have build number 238. I see mention of others having a higher build number & yet if I download the beta I still get 238. From where can I get a newer build?

I don't think it would be appropriate for me to mention the lastest build number (to my knowledge) as that may not be the number that Bill would want you to test. Only Bill can supply you with a link to a later build as for me or anybody else to do it would be an abuse of trust. If you feel you should be testing a later build, then you need to ask Bill for a later version.

Hi white light. thanks for your reply - however I have now received the link to the newer builds from Bill, so you can ignore my earlier request.

    Hi All,

We have a release candidate for QuickShow 2.0. You can find it here:
    http://www.pangolin.com/UpdateFiles.htm

Thanks to WhiteLight for being someone who tests even more thoroughly than I do -- an amazing feat!

Thanks to CyberBob for translating into Dutch (not included in the version above but will be in the final 2.0 release) and finding a lot of spelling errors along the way.

Please let us know BY DIRECT EMAIL ONLY SINCE I AM NOT ON THIS FORUM VERY OFTEN if you find any problems.

    Best regards,

    William Benner

    Thanks Bill.
    Downloaded & Installed - Excellent.
Would be nice if we are able to download the remainder of the video tutorials......

There is no such thing as "RC BETA".
Either it's still BETA or an RC, it cannot be both as entitled on the download page.

Who said, Pangolin uses this life cycle?
Most software life-cycles first have a feature freeze before they enter the RC stage..
But i have never seen a feature freeze at Pangolin's Software.

    Its always under development.

Yeah, can't argue with "Wikipedia" !!!

Dude, why don't you introduce yourself, instead of just jumping in to stir up sh** on your very first post?

Otherwise, you might come across as little more than "trolling"...
