Not all funktions are the same in LDS, but 95% is OK

Ok, send me your email with PM, i will see what i find.

    First look here: http://download.phoenix-showcontroll...HOENIX-PRO.zip
    and here http://www.phoenix-showcontroller.de...ort/tutorials/
    Most are the same.

I think midi hardware is the better way for livecontrol.
With the Keybord fast select for section - faders/rotarys for additional Effekt.

But you can use also any dmx slider if you dac (easylase/Riya) has DMX Input onboard.
Additional USB-DMX Interfaces will not work.

Sorry for my crap english...i hope you understand what i mean.

Edit: you can also come with problems for lds @laserfreak.net http://www.laserfreak.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=18
Use the german forum!! Not all read in english section.
The most users can you help also in (broken)english. ;-)

Default Little Workaround midi for live in LDS

    Hi,

ok, i try a little workaround for midi change.
    Hope you understand me ;-)

1.) you must make some Eventlines under the complete Live-Show.
Rotate, Scale, Move, Colorchange etc. (img1)

2.) Edit this Event. You must specify the lowest and the highest desired Value. (img2)
    Carefully for Movements!

3.) Now you can select Pichweel, Variables and Midi-Notes. The Number is the selectet Channel. (img3+4)
Im not sure, what are the correct - "Var" or "Midi" for more Fader. I have not controller at time. But i think Var(xx) is ok.

4.) Set "type of animation" to expression.

5.) at last, you need a software midi-patcher (midiox or other)
This tool can patch your Fader to other midi channels (1-127).

    Hopefully I remember correctly

I think every (USB) midi hardware will work.
If you have problems, check first your midi settings in windows.

    hi christian

being a total noob to midi , i am having problems

i have a korg nano kontrol, if i just load a live show and play any panel
my korg does kind of work it as it is ,ie knob 1 and slider 9 control the x,y position
another slider will control rotation ect, this does the same to any live show i play.
but i can find nothing in the live shows that sets this up ,so where in lds is it getting this control information for my korg nano to have an effect on the show ?

i have also tried to do as you explained in this thread to do my own live show
i have midi ox ,and it reading my controller ok, but dont know how to patch it to the lds software
is there a setting page in lds i am missing ?
setting up a controller in pangolin quick show i easy as it has a learn function
shame lds does not life would be easier
what i want to do is for example is setup my controller so slider 1&2 control x&y size,
slider 3&4 control x&y position, slider 5 control speed ect ect.
would setting up a dmx controller be any easier ?
    hope you can help

    regards
    chris

You must look in midiox what your Hardwareslider is.
Example:´in midiox this sliderchannel you can patch from 1 to 127.
In LDS select this channel from midiox. The Number you must self insert.
Check in windows the system midimapper - midi-input must your device or midiox.
