    Default Jack Horkheimer passed away Friday

    Jack Horkheimer, former director of the Miami Space Transit Planetarium and host of Star Gazer on PBS for ~30 years passed away Friday, he was 72

    I met him several times (I did some of the laser shows the Miami Planetarium runs) and he was always really friendly and just as enthusiastic as he was on his show...

    Really sorry to hear of his passing, I watched his show for years as a kid.
