Default For Steve - Lexel 95 Problem Identified

Seems this poor little guy just gave up the ghost in the middle of SELEM which was causing the interlock circuit to stop functioning

That poor little guy is the second most expensive, repairable part in the laser after the plasma tube.
110N030 is the part number, where NO = is normally (O)pen, not N zero. 30 seconds of delay. They are very, very, very reliable.
In XX years of working with lexel, that is only the second one I've seen die.

Time to replace it with a solid state delay relay. My local surplus place has loads of them.
I'll see if I can dig one up.

Oh, it's not the delay tube, it's the little relay next to it - the metal strip that acts as the return spring called it quits

What is the K number silkscreened next to that relay, I probably have it in the Amish built barn of partz.

    Steve
I have two busted ones which I have had to work around but then for me it's XXX years.
Tread carefully in the next x years!

    Cheers
