    Default Laserworld scanners HELP!

Can laserworld scanners be taken out and installed into another non-laserworld projector?

    of course.

just make sure you take everything needed. scanners, amps, cords, power supply.

Just like to make one point which no one seems to have mentioned.

Despite LW projectors having differential ILDA inputs, the scanner signals are routed through preamps on the DMX card, and emerge through internal LW leads as SINGLE sided signals which then make their way to the scan amps.

So if installing into another projector make sure you realize that these scan amps as wired by LW have single sided inputs or things might get a little "strange".

    Cheers
