    Default -6mm FL Coated Lenses

    Hi all

Anyone know of anywhere I could buy a couple of -6mm FL lenses?

I need these as a means of rapidly expanding a laser beam over a very short distance. Diameter of probably no less than 5mm as below that they become difficult to mount.

Either plano concave or bi-concave form would be suitable. Preferably reflection free coated for visible wavelengths as i'll be using them with 532nm and 632.8nm lasers.

Edmund Optics have them but I was hoping for a cheaper source if possible.

    Many thanks

    Jem

He is looking for a -6mm concave lens, that is a +6mm convex lens.

    Have you tried surplusshed yet?

Krazer, thanks. I couldn't remember the name of Surplusshed. I'll take a look.

    Cheers

For diverging purposes I guess he'd also go with positive one.
These can be found with shorter f.l., like 4.6mm from Thorlabs.
