    Default Old Lasers Wanted

I'm looking for the oldest lasers I can find. Anything from the '60s, the earlier the better! Names include Hughes Aircraft, Raytheon, Maser Optics, Optics Technology, Perkin Elmer / Spectra-Physics, Trion / Lear Siegler, RCA, and American Optical. Also looking for old Ealing triangular rails, carriers and components for them.

C'mon now, dig that old stuf out of those cabinets!

    Hi Robert,
I am a freind of Sam's. I have an old Ruby laser flashlamp assembly from the 1960's era that I cannot identify. It has no rod but the lamp in in good shape and it is huge. I am only asking what I paid, $50 + actual shipping. I also have a 1970's vintage Hughes HeNe laser head with a cut off cable. Sam says it tested Ok with a Tesla Coil. It has a double brewster tube with external mirrors inside. $100 for that if you would try to repair it someday. I have been meaning to but am just to busy it seems. Sam and I have never seen an external mirror hughes head this long. Best regards, Phil 142laser

MarioMaster's agreed to sell the old Hughes 3052 to me. Now I need to find an appropriate way to ship it to California. My digging in to it suggests it was made in 1969, when ion laser technology was transferred to the Electron Dynamics Division of Hughes. Still the oldest ion laser I've ever seen! I just have find a justification for flying to the East Coast to secure the plasma tube for shipment.

Yesterday we had freezing rain, snow and 70 MpH Winds (112.6 KpH)

And today we have 13F (-10'c) and a windchill factor that is Burrrrrrrr.......
