    Hello Laserlinna!

Good to see this thread moving in the right direction.

Still see some problems to be addressed though:

    1. What is the price increase for decent 640nm RED 800mw (instead of flashlight 650)?

    2. Can you fix the linearity of the analogue modulation?

    3. Would be nice to see an aluminium shroud or cover so that fans don't chuck muck (smoke etc.) on to the optics and scanner mirrors. This can be very flimsy but would be well worthwhile since regular cleaning usually means spending time/money/transport etc.

    4. When I first mentioned DMX what I was talking about was NOT the commands menu. I was referring to the stored PICTURES themselves, the things that are to be "moved", "zoomed", "rotated" etc.
If user could "upload" logos, phrases, pictures, short animations etc. the publicity market starts to open it's arms.
So what do your Tech fellas have to say about this "detail".

Still, really good progress so far, I am definitely getting interested.

    Best of luck!

    Cheers

I myself, will consider purchasing at least one, for my own brief use initially, then passing onto a local club client for a small profit.

Out of curiosity, since FB3 would be used by my client with this laser, in regards to Norty303's recent comment in this thread: http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...utput-from-FB3

laserlinna, would you laser suffer from similar issues, or have you tested with the Pangolin FB3?

    thanks much all!

    -D.

ps: laserlinna, why does it seem you have created a new profile for yourself with the recent: Linna PL id: http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/....php/355-Linna ?

    Hello
We didn't use FB3 to test our this RGB.
    I think have some situations:
First, If use software to control the laser projector, the signal is different from you directly test the power with the full signal.
Second, when you control it with software, high speed of the scanner, then losing of the laser light will be more .
That's my speculation. Hope you can understand me .
We have never met the problem like that.

Sorry, I don't remember the passwords of that account. So I creat this one.

But, some of persons still remember me, that's great

    Best regards

    Hi
The 640nm, at the moment. CNI doesn't manufacture above than 300mw of 640nm

But one of my client suggest that :

    300 mW RED, 640nm
    300 mW GREEN, 532 nm
300 mW NEW BLUE, 450 nm

    40 k Scanner Set

You might want to research that a bit more:
    http://cnilaser.com/red_laser640.htm

They have BIG 640s... Although I am betting this is what you are looking at; which does have a highest power of 300mW:
Low cost red laser system at 640 nm with round beam
    PRL-FS-640MRL-III-640H1-150mW200-300mW

Big one is up to 5W.
High power red laser system at 640 nm with small divergence
    MRL-W-6403000-5000mW

    Hi
I had checked the CNI for many many times. The sales who in charge of our company always told me that
    they haven't the power above than 300mW 640nm . I also don't know why .

    Hey dear, it's 1.5W 640nm big?
I mean the laser modue and the driver ?

    Best regards

    Hi

Yeah, I had checked with time many times. And I also said why they had new640nm.
For one of client said that they had got quotation of more power 640nm.
Then I check with the sale in CNI, but they said the new products didn't come out yet.

Maybe I will check with them again

    Thank you for your suggestion

    Best regards

    Hi
    Thanks for your attention .
Yeah, I am glad to talk with you all here, for we talk and share some experience.
    1. For power 800mW, 640nm , I had checked with CNI they have or not .

    2. Sure, we can use analog module.

3.Using the case for installing and , maybe cleaning need more time, but the case also can stop the dust to go to the laser module, and also more safe.

    4. For the description, you see, it's misread, or Chinese's English. Sorry for that.

Just to add, that 800mW of 640 in that projector would be too much/unnecessary.

300-400mW of 640 should balance nicely.

So whilst people like big power, it is out of context as far as that projector is concerned.

That price is pretty good if I compare what it cost to put mine together - is the blue able to be turned up at all? I'm thinking if someone wanted to upgrade the red and green at a later date, can the blue be increaed to match?

Do you have cheaper projectors? For around 1000-1200$?
