Just to add, that 800mW of 640 in that projector would be too much/unnecessary.

300-400mW of 640 should balance nicely.

So whilst people like big power, it is out of context as far as that projector is concerned.

That price is pretty good if I compare what it cost to put mine together - is the blue able to be turned up at all? I'm thinking if someone wanted to upgrade the red and green at a later date, can the blue be increaed to match?

Yes, you are right. using 800mw(640nm) it too much .
Our prefessional clients also suggest us to use 300mW 640nm.

Sure ,all the power can be upgraded.
I think the blue 450nm, maybe can be increase to 400mW.
