Thread: what color mix for brown?

    thanks for the info, it is just driving me crazy as one pj I have makes really nice brown eagles and trees, the other they all look red on. thinking my skosh of green might be the problem with turn on of the dpss.

    Brown is technically a dull orange. I'm not sure it's possible to make a true brown colour.

    I've seen what I consider to be brown by mixing similar to what has already beeen posted by Steve and loopee. Full on Red, with a a tiny, tiny amount of green and blue..

    Depending on which optics set I use, I have lemon yellow, which is 568, or yellow yellow, which is 575. The 7 nm really does make a difference.
