    Default Big-Dipper lasers?

    Hi guys

Right now there is a Power-buy/group-buy going on on a dutch website.
They are planning to buy lasers from Big-Dipper (their site: http://www.bigdipper-laser.com/english/main.asp).

Anyone knows something about the quality of the lasers? Because I might want to buy a F-01 (RGY laser )

You can see the lasers they sell here: http://asymptech.com/Asymptech_products1.html (use the [next] button to view more lasers

The prices of the lasers with the powerbuy are around:
    K-200: 174 Euro
    K-300: 161 Euro
    K-320: 193 Euro
    K-800: 220 Euro
    D-06: 700 Euro
    F-01 (RGY): 365 Euro
    F-02 (RGY): 260 Euro
    Flying 099: 175 Euro
    Flying 199: 195 Euro
    K1000+: 490 Euro
    D10: 1326 Euro
That is including shipping from China to The Netherlands (but we do have to buy >50 units total)

So the F-01 laser looks pretty nice to me, but if it is a low-quality laser I can better buy a green + red diode and a trichro, and play with those myself

I like the whole concept, but the lasers are mostly IR and the shows on them
are distinctly reminiscent of hyperactive 5 year olds on meth...

That said, if there was one near me for a good price I'd have a hard time
    turning it down

I'm sorry, but I didnt understand a worth of it ops: (I'm Dutch, so English isnt my native language, so your post didnt made much sense to me)

I am guessing that you were saying that those lasers emit a lot of IR power (which they do say is 'actual' power. But while you can't see it is totally useless. In other words, the lasers are much less powerfull then they claim.

But if you came across those lasers for a good price, you probably do would buy one. Correct?

    Heh, yep...

The other part is that the actual shows aren't very attractive as far as laser shows go.

    Hello Guys!

Having a lot of experience with buying and selling Big Dipper lasers, I can tell you that the above pricing is very expensive and it is not a good deal.

For realistic pricing, and great deals buy from the company I buy from.

For smaller orders and friendly service www.asymptech.com
    For large orders www.chinesedepartmentstore.com.cn

    good luck

I got my F-01 from DjTraximus in china (via eBay).
It is the F-01 not F-01+ which is in a different case.
It is quite good for the price although it uses stepper motors rather than galvos.

    Nice
DJ Traximus is a great resource, however you can get the same lasers for less at asymptech or chinesedepartmentstore.
I highly recommend asymptech, as they will do their best to come close to chinesedepartmentstore prices, and asymptech has the best service, 24hours via phone, and they are also on MSN. They are true laser enthusiasts and love to chat about lasers, all night if you like

The way I see it, why spend more on 1 laser, when you can spend the same and buy more than one laser? hehe
