    Default Hazer question

Hi all! I've been kind of quiet since SELEM because work has been crazy busy but, I need to see about getting a hazer (actually two - Dan from X-Lazer who has seen my place indicated I really need two.) I've looked at a bunch of models and am definately going oil based. I know pricing is all over the map but the two I'm considering right now are the
Antari HZ300 or the MBT HZ300. Wondering if anyone has any familiarity with either of these two units. I haven't found a lot of reviews online but, I'm fairly certain either one is probably adequate.

    Thanks! (Marc - I haven't forgotten!)

I fully appreciate that but, two Look Solutions would be $3,700 versus about $850 for two MBT's. They will likely be used less than a dozen times per year. If I had a club where they were used nightly, or was a dj and I had income to justify the cost that would make sense. As it is, I'm probably not going to get more than a few hundred bucks for a light/lazer setup for occasional events and I'm paying for this personally - it's not being paid by a company.

So, the remaining $2,850 would likely be better served towards a quality laser. I'm kind of looking at best bang for the buck here and a balance between cost and performance. The American DJ haze generator has been suggested but, the MBT is (I believe) also a respectable name at the same list price and has 700 more cubic feet per minute output. By the same token, some people swear by Antari as well.

You can also sell the Smokefactory Tourhazer. Is the same machine, but in Roadcase.
The LeMaitre Neutron or Star XS makes also very nice Haze.

We bought a Le Maitre MVS a few weeks back and I am very impressed...used recently in a very large night club and filled the whole club in 10mins on a low setting - ran for 7 hours non stop on LOW setting which maintained a nice haze across the club and used very little juice...2/3 egg cups.
Juice is not cheap but seems to last so no big deal. The sugar based juice produces a very fine and consistent blend of haze which seems to hang in the air for quite a long time...
See Pics ...sorry quality is not good....

I heart our Antari Fazer Z300. We've even used it outdoors to great success.

    The Fazers are sweet..

Anything oil based on the other hand I hate with a passion. I have seen mineral oil literally dripping out of moving head lights in one venue!!

I Loooove my Unique 2 , it's a brilliant piece of kit and it just sips juice.

The only oil based hazer i'd consider would be an MDG Atmosphere, or perhaps a pea souper. Both of which are used by the BBC...

    Cheers
