    Default 200mw Green from Snoctony

I am looking for a ~200mw green, and came across this laser on ebay from snoctony, who I have heard good things about. I worry that all of the experiences people have had with him revolve around 808nm diodes, and that there has not been a review of his DPSS lasers. The part that worries me is that it looks like a Lion laser--which have terrible reviews.

    The laser in question

It is about $100 cheaper than a LW532-200 which I have heard good things about, so if anyone can vouch for it I am all over it

Careful here you might get misquoted! (LW = LaserWave/LaserWorld)

and people take a great deal of notice of your opinion about things.

    Cheers

Hmm, that one looks like the 80-150mw Lion, as opposed to the 200-350 model I linked.

The reviews on LPF do look very promising though! http://laserpointerforums.com/f52/20...ped-50812.html I wonder what the Snoctony one is actually doing, if all of their lasers do 2x the rated power it could be closer to 300mw after filtering.

Heck that that price I can buy 2, combine with a PBS, and still come out ahead

edit- the only manufacture I know of that sells a LW532-200 is laserwave

hey Krazer, so I haven't been closely monitoring other threads, but how did your $40 ecrater 200mw 532nm purchase go? Any luck with TTL modulation for your mini projector?

The ecrater module was a failure, it did about 120mw unfiltered, 30mw filtered, and while I got a partial refund the vendor isn't selling them anymore due to a runin with the powers that be.

I am still hoping to find a good pointer module, but in the mean time I put in an order for one of the 150mw ones fleacom linked, in hopes that its performance will make up for the larger size. Its just hard to keep buying $50-100 modules and not have any of them work
