this thread will probably be gone by the morning but hey ho ill repost if need be
yes another red build...
6 open cans (Sextuple) and using telescopics, running each diode at 210mw
will hopefully get it finished off tomorrow

nice Andy!
there is a great advantage at using a cube for sextuple reds, as you can overlap the dead zones of the first triplet by inverting the second triplet (don't know if I'll make myself understood lol)... that makes a pretty circular and uniform beam!
I'm curious at what it will be looking with no cube, please take pictures with no telescope as soon as you get it aligned in a hexagon shape (if that's what you planned )
dont understand what your saying but ill get some pics

needs a little bit of tweaking as i can get a slightly better beam but you get the idea

ok two builds, both using the same diodes, same telescopics and both photos taken at 18metres -
standard aixiz lens -
give or take its about 15mm
roithner 7020h lens-
give or take 10mm

You wont get the red aura if you used 4 prisms to compress the beams....even with the Aixiz lenses...nice work.

which telescopics lenses did you use?
where can i get them?
thanks
I also would like to know what telescopics were used and where I can get some. Nice work and thanks for sharing.
A picture is worth a thousand words.
Thanks for posting. I have learned something here.
