    Does the plate get warmer when on?
    Could be different rates of thermal expansion?

    Maybe try making an ally one

    not at the moment no, im running 6 diodes from one driver so they are only outputting like 50mw each.

    its the actual mounts

    its probably just me, ive never used these mounts before so i just need to keep playing.

    just wait for the 3watt version

    This style mirror mount is pretty damn stable.

    At the weekend, I went and checked on some RGB's of ours in a install, and in 10 weeks, they haven't changed alignment..

    Its just a matter of perfecting your adjustment technique, or finding the unstable part of your system...

    yeah its probably just me dave, like i say ive never used these mounts before.

    there operation is completely different to the ones im used to

    I experienced this problem with the mounts, they have to be locked down very tightly to prevent drifting. I had some problems with them so I changed out some of them for different mounts.

    I know they can work very well though because I'm still using 4 of them in my projector. After adjusting twice I haven't touched them, survived a 2000 mile trip to SELEM without need for adjustment.

    ill have to do some plaing to see if i can stop it happening.

    at the end of the day they cant drift forever there has to be a point where they stop
