Dell Computer

Hey guys-

I just got this computer (actually 2 of them) a few months ago. Come to realize I only really need 1 of them. I was being over zealous thinking to get my wife one and one for me to use remotely. However, the wife pretty much just uses the desktop and never really touches the Laptop.

This has been sitting in the box for i think about 2 months. and its only maybe 5 months old. So, essentially brand new.

Specs:

-Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.2GHz
-500GB SATA HD
-4GB RAM
-DVD r/rw (cdr and rw also obviously)
-17" High Def Screen
-Wirelss "N" Integrated
-Win 7 64
-Microsoft Office 2007 (Full version)
-6 Cell battery. This thing lasts a LONG time. under normal operating conditions, well over 3 hours. Im sure even more, but ill just leave it at that.

Still has approx 6 months of factory warranty available.

Its a damn good computer, just no need for it.

I paid $899 for it. Make some offers (realistic ones please).

two comment on this computer.

a) we have a few of these Studio 1745's in the labs here and i have no complaints, and trust me, we KILL computers in krnl, literally. One's keyboard stopped working when a super-temp spilled his coffee on it, but other than the (obviously) damaged keyboard, they seem to well built well running and reliable laptops. I make this judgment as i have to bring some of these machines back from the dead, and they tend to be some of the more painless ones.

b) with my employee discount i can purchase this machine for about 739$, but MS gives a hell of a discount. Refurbished from Dell.com this machine (exact same specs) goes for just under 800$... this machine has retained a good bit of value
