Default Can Someone with FB3 test this?

I just made this in Adobe Flash, exported to JPG sequence and ran it through Trace IT. Was wondering if someone with a FB3 could test it out and let me know what it looks like. Timing is probably a little too quick, so it will have to be slowed down later. I'm really just looking to find out if it works or not and if the image quality is good.

    Yeah mate, gimme a sec

OK well, not too many points.

During the first couple of seconds, theres a bit of flickering between some points as it splits into 2, and a flash down in the right corner (stray point probably)

As it's opening up, the laser goes duller once it's split into about 2.

Pretty much fine the rest of the way through, just a teeny bit of jumping between points it seems.

    Cheers,
    Dan

    Default Thanks!

I'll see if I can't fix those problems and post another version of it.

    Default Updated File

Here's another one for someone to test. I found some issues with the flash file in the first version and changed some of the settings in TraceIt, so it should look a little bit better.

Just wanted to say thanks for posting this.

You inspired me to not only produce a multicoloured eye level copy of this with a faster animation rate but also one of my simplest but best multi effects yet.

Just goes to show what a bit of inspiration can do. Sorry I can't help with the file checking but I don't currently have a laser to output to.

    Things:
Thanks for testing this for me. This was my first attempt at creating an effect, so I'm glad that it works. I would have tested this myself, but my laser still isn't finished yet.

Here's the files that you requested. I published the SWF as a Flash 8 file, because I remember reading that LC-Flash likes the older file format.

    Here you go:

Idea is the strobing fans above bathe the audience in coloured light whilst the other beams sweep through the audience to provide interaction.

Very difficult to tell from a preview alone but I think it would work well in practice as its quite simple:
