What is a LaserBug?

It slices, It dices,,,, It even cuts wood! No, not really...

LaserBug is a 1/2" X 1/2" PCB that makes easy work of interfacing 5.6mm can diodes for your laser project. Just plug your laser diode into the press fit socket and connect the leads to your favorite laser diode driver.

Here are some features of LaserBug...

• Gold plated Japanese made 3 pin socket for your diode leads.
• Pin selectable via solder pad jumper to work with ANY 5.6mm single emitter laser diode.
• ESD protection (optional with the addition of LASORB)
• Series resistance (optional with included .5 ohm 1W resistor)
• 2 pin socket header for quick disconnects.
• 1 foot flying leads for your project.

These laser bugs make a great addition to any laser project using 5.6mm laser diodes!

I am currently putting together another order for Lasorbs at the same great price and would like to offer another batch of these. I will need an order of at least 50 to offer the LASORBS at the great $6 price.

Due to the fact PL janitor needs a little fund raising, I will be donating $2 from every LaserBug sold to the grand wizard behind the curtain at PL HQ. The price for the laser bug modules is as follows.

$12.00 each without LASORB

$18.00 each with LASORB (red or blue)

$7.00 each for individual LASORB's

Shipping will be $3.00 within the US and $5.00 international for any quantity.

Please post in this thread the quantity desired and what type of LASORBS required.

These laserbugs are in stock and I will ship as soon as I have an order for at least 50 units.
