    Adam,

I'm in for 2 with blue lasorbs and 3 additional blue lasorbs if you have them.

Is there a way that I could pay just a little extra to get the ones with LASORBs right away instead of having to wait?

    Hey Adam, these look cool.

How do they go with harvested diodes with traces of solder on the leads (or short leads)?

How do you find the LD socket and 0.1" pitch connector for reliability and issues like falling off?
    This space for rent.

    Hey man!
As long as the leads aren't too short, they work and fit great! I usually have to trim the leads shorter from LPC-815 and 445nm diodes. If the leads are tinned with solder, they are usually a little tighter but fit right in. I have NEVER experianced the sockets falling off the diodes. I did my homework before designing and building these. They grip the diode VERY well but will allow removal if and when you need to.

I just put mine to good use, thanks Adam.

Even if you are skilled in soldering and dont need these for your builds, its very handy to have a couple around for testing diodes. I just extracted 16 LPC diodes and had all of them tested within 20 minutes.
