    Default Architectural Balloon Popper?

I think some architects could use a lesson in fundamental optics!

I'm anxious to see how well "greenery and umbrellas" like the sun on that side of the building.

    Default ENGINEERS?

You figure as much as it cost to produce a building like that, they would take lensing into consideration. Disney did the same thing with using polished stainless steal as a sideding cover on their building, all curves and melting stuff in a building a cross the way even in cars in the parking lot.

Came here to post that exact same picture. Here's a google street-view of the same building.

They just need to get creative with some artistically placed solar panels and they'll be good to go.

All they need do is install a large array of solar cells and viola! Solar furnace to power the hotel. It is a design feature, not a flaw.
