laserist, a noun that combines laser and artist. Originally meaning performance artist. Now people who use lasers to cut grave stones call themselves laserists. So is anybody doing performance art that lives up to the standard those folks at Laser Images did way back when? And please, performance art doesn't start and end with with press of a button...

Oh please don't think I was referring to this forum. My dissatisfaction with the state of the industry predates the birth of many of the members here. I stopped doing (live) laser shows 25 year ago, and a little bit of me died back then. Of course the industry stopped doing live shows then too... It's an honest question - where is somebody doing a show that's worth traveling to see?
