Default Help converting non-profit Logo to ILD format

Hello, I just built my first RRGB sound card DAC projector:
    http://www.facebook.com/PaulZimm#!/a...1&id=813974033

I am looking to convert the following logo to the ILD format:
    http://www.zimmtech.net/NA_logo.gif

I have a registered copy Spaghetti (which I am just getting the hang of) and I also use the free LFI Player. The logo is for a non-profit organization (I have been member of Narcotics Anonymous for several years now) and it would be great to convert the logo and play in the background at one of our holiday functions.

Could anyone please help me convert the logo to the ILDA format or at least direct me to the best software I should use? Any help is MUCH appreciated - Thank you!

    - Paul

    NA_logo.ild

Try that; it is just white so you'll have to play with the color.

WOW - That is awesome! Is there any freeware versions of BMP2ILD converters out there? I do have access to a ton of free laser software, I just need to know what to search for.

    Thank you SO much!

I used the TraceIt program that comes with Pangolin.

I am not too up to date on the available freeware options. My main goal is to make shows so I went after the platform that I thought was the best for making shows... and I really like the Winamp plugin.

Personally I use Inkscape combo'd with ILD SOS from drlava. ILD SOS isn't free, but it is very affordable at $29.

The way it works is you open an image in Inkscape and trace it. Then you export the trace as a .dxf file. ILD SOS is then used to open the .dxf file, optimize it, and then convert it to .ild. The results are typically amazing.

WOW! Thanks guys! My mom is an architect and tomorrow she is going to convert to DXF another version of the file I cleaned up. I may ask someone to convert straight from DXF to ILD if that's okay. THANKS AGAIN!

SOS takes care of SVG now. I don't think DXF is necessary except for Illustrate!
I hired an Italian guy to do my wires. Now they look like spaghetti!

You know where can I get the Winamp plugin for use with my Sound Card DAC? Just curious, thanks!

You're absolutely right! I posted the wrong file extension.. It'll convert either type of file IIRC.
