    Default trilights 532nm 200mw Ebay

OK just received my analog 200mw from trilights off EBAY.

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=320579123751

    1) upon plugging it in made an awful noise from the PS fan.

figured it got bumped in shipping and needed a quick fiddle, opened it up and much to my surprise

    2) it was used!! the caps were coated in dust n grime as well as the transistors.

bad cell pick but you can see where i wiped the dust from the caps with my pinkie.

EDIT: there service was great, offered to do anything to make me happy! was very impressed by this, the factory kinda screwed them on a drop ship it appears.

    3) The good this was the 200mw unit putting out 370mw steady after 5minutes.

    4) divergence isn;t great doesn;t hold the tiny dot like my other 532, but heck for the money this laser more than impresses.

I sent them an email as the description stated 100% brand new, I have to believe they made a repair to the PS and shipped as new. Didn;t pull the board to look for rework yet.

Is your measurement including IR? These things don't have filters...

How is the mod linearity? Beam quality?

I used a tiffen IR filter ahead of the meter.

dnar, what kinda laser is your avatar? looks just like the one i got today.

I could use a better meter, but feel it to be close as it measures my vaisho 500mw at 540mw.

I've not read a bad review on these yet and my little 150mW is doing good. That's kinda sketchy about the condition of the inside though. I found the seller real good about returning my emails and answering any questions so hopefully they take care of you.

I see you answered the IR question while I was typing.

I've found the Laserbee to be more than close enough. If only my new old Coherent Fieldmaster was

Hi, Just my 2 cents, I did see this post on other forums about this seller and they all brag about the output but as you said with out ir filter. Most say good output over stated with filter. just find a efficent ir filter and run with it. I could use one soon. or the 150mw for $125.00, I like the seller and they respond fast to you on questions. N I C E, could be like O-Like for some kind of quality even if from CHINA. Cheers JH

Just a quick update, the seller sent a new power supply to me, and apologized for all the troubles. I will buy from them again I am sure.

I've only scanned it once, but it isn;t as good as my vaisho as I needed to reset the pallet to not have blanking issues using pango. I'll run some real tests for you this weekend or so. I'll try video scan through it.
