Default Lasever offers drivers and lens for 445nm lasers

    Hello friends,

the LSR-PS-I can drive the 445nm diodes, only if you tune the input to 5.5V. The 5V open frame switching-mode power supply can be tuned up. We also offer the lens to couple the beam to nearly round beam. The lens is a triple lens set. Welcome to contact me. We share our experiences and wanna share your joys of DIY. Phahaps a group buy would be nice for you who need single pieces.
    Thx

    Hi,

Any more details on the lens? Specs, pictures of beam / spot and price?

I have always liked the lasever drivers for their small size, bonus tec driver as well :-)

David, the 473nm laser that you sold to me stopped working so I have a LSR-PS-I collecting dust. Would it be possible for you to publish the info about this so that I can use it to control a TEC and my 445nm diode? Thanks.

from what i understand, the white 5W resistor on the heatsink of .33 Ohm needs to be changed to 0.1 Ohm and as David says you need to input 5.5V instead of 5V.

I used this driver / tec / thermistor combo on the LEM in the UK.
Worked like a charm, kept the diode block very stable between 19,4 and 19,8 degrees.
Someone suggested this might be a little low and that to prevent condensation i had to turn it up to 25 degrees. But it worked stable as a rock, so i can really recommend this.
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

    Default pinouts of LSR-PS-I

I have more information on the pinouts:
    1-LD-
    2-Rt
    3-LD+
    4-Rt
    5-TEC+
    7-5V+
    8-5V-
    9-TEC-

Rt is Thermal Resistant for temperature feedback. We use 50kOhm. We can change it to 10kOhm or others.

we offer the sub-9 connecting cable.

The lens is in holder M9-0.5x10mm. It contains 3 pcs of aspherical and spherical lens. $15 for one or $10/pc for 10. The LSR-PS-I is for $45 by 10pcs, $60 for one.
