    Default That is way cool!

Very interesting, would like you to post pics of the build if you have any. I have three 445nm diodes and would like to us one for a build like that!

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Really cool that you did it without X/Y table and instead used ordinary scanners!
    What software did you use?

yea it works just fine with normal scanners just use a lens to focus the scanned output down and find the focus point

it wil mark most plastics leather and wood without to mutch dificulties

This might be one for the RepRap guys. Stick a 445nm on a RepRap Mendel?

I wonder if you can cut straight through plexiglass and plywood with a single diode, or need a little more punch.
