    Over 100 Trillion Watts? I think Wicked Lasers is putting out a new pointer that does 200 trillion.

    Except I read somewhere it can fire only once every few minutes.

    If it doesn't work for fusion, I think it should be converted to a moon show laser. Might have to build about 50 nuclear power plants next door so it can run CW. Cable and satellite tv might suffer when it vaporizes a few satellites that get in the way. 500 tv channels is too many anyway.
