Live control panel in LFI player help

i am having a hard time trying to get the 'live console' to work in LFI player. every time i go to the demo files and click on the 'demo.clv' file this error comes up "onOpenClvFile():failed to open file for reading" and then the live control panel loads with it but when ever i click out of the error message the live control panel goes away. what do i need to do in order for this to work?

load a frame set first.

when you mean by load a frame set, do you mean load an .ild or .abs file? and then while that is running load the .clv file? and that will pop up my live console?
