    Default First look FB3QS

    just arrived this morning the newly released FB3QS.
    if you thought the old xe was sexy - this is even more cute!
    Its about 15% smaller allround than its predecessor with just enough room at one end for the ilda out and the other end occupied by a USB connector and a single LED - the LED output tells you the status of the device with different colours
    Green when connected toUSB and ready
    yellow when talking to QS and flashes red when data is being transfered
    Excuse the pics was just a quickie to get them up here

    just had a look on the pango web site and couldnt see anything about the new fb3.

    do you have a full spec you can post rob?

    not yet but I am guessing this is one more step in the 'beyond' direction.
    The device supports >100k scanning and 6 colour channels but these are not utilised in QS. I am just trying to find out if this limitation extends to LivePro or if this will make use of the extra capabilities

    indeed it seems silly to release the hardware with these features included but you cant actually use them due to software limitations.

    Looks great! Very neat and tiny.

    I'd be interested to see the spec also.
