A computer picked those words from a list of the most disused words in the English lexicon, based on a random noise source.

It would probably be a service in the agency, you call, make a appointment, walk to some place in the basement, turn a selector switch to the type of word you want, press a button, and some one who does not know who you are hands you a envelope with a new codeword.

At least that is how I'd do it.

In reality, for hardware, I think the word is picked to help you remember what the project is. Not that I would know, but that is how we did stuff at the University.

OK, this post started as a conspiracy of one.

I was kinda hoping to bait electr@frea% into coming back. I have mixed feelings about the fellow's attitude, but I kinda have a bad feeling about seeing so many people go nuts in the middle of Great Recession II. I was setting in the waiting room watching some one else with similar symptoms. There was another line attached, addressed to him. However I deleted it.
