    Default Homemade Laser Projector

sltvm2007 have started to explain all the details of his DIY laser projector on another forum: Laserpointerfoums

Actually SLTVM2007 has not explained a damn thing. We knew it was a resonant scanner from day one. He may have given details of a resonant structure, but parts of that do not add up. He does not explain how to correct the phasing and drift of the resonant scanner. Commercial systems that do this have complex feedback networks, etc.

The fast green direct DPSS modulation, albeit at very low powers, has yet to be explained.

Oh, wait, you are sltvm2007... Trolling for your ego?

isnt stainless steel non-magnetic? how is he using an electromagnet to vibrate the stainless steel?

(me not making any statements about the mystery projector)

If a material is not attracted by a permanent magnet, does not mean it has no magnetical properties.

Classical example: take a coin that is not attracted by a magnet, lay it on a wooden table.
Now quickly move a strong permanent magnet parallel to the table over the coin.

It moves ! Even though it wasn't attracted in the first place.

Restoring torque of Kuntman's scanner is very strong, hence it has a very sharp
resonant (no phase drift problem); therefore no need for any position detectors and complex feedback controls.

This scanner has these main features:
    - No MEMS
    - No acousto-optical-modulators
    - No need for complex feedback controls.

Yes you are right. Stainless steel is usually non-magnetic. Mirror material should be magnetic. By the word 'stainless' we have intended to mean 'good reflectivity'.

    Thanks.

Here is a diagam for high speed analog DPSS green laser. And there is a picture of an image scanned by using this.

Hi.. For all details of Kuntman's scanner-projector and its applications: scanning camera and lidar:
