Default CuBr getting ready for its first outing

Dan and I have spent a few hours on the CuBr this weekend getting it ready for its first proper gig where it will be used on Sat evening at around 9pm -12am in St Helens all clearances permitting. So tonight after fittong the new scanner bed with shutter and bounce mirror we aligned it all to the scanner sand fired it down the garden onto my fence. See attached for some nice beams. If you are near St Helens on Sat keep a look out - I have a freind who will be photographing it so will post some pics next weekend

Glad to see her getting put to good use
What did you get out of her power wise after the spa treatment opti-clean-up?
Divergence looks ok in the pics too

Not had it on the meter yet...
Planning to do an autotune to raise the power a little too, as well as general tweakage

7mm beam, 2.4mRad full angle divergence measured

    Rather you than me Dan.

Looks very nice but I'd rather be behind the beams!

Wow Rob and Dan... looks good....
Don't you burn some holes in your fence with that monster ?

And you got the beam down to 7mm wow, that's cool... From 25mm to 7 is nice.
    I didn't fail !

On a clear night you need to poke it up into the sky on a low horizon trajectory, exactly towards the direction of little old Surfleet - I will go outside and see if I can see it
