This is the culmination of over 6 month of development... We decided not to sell the
3.2 Watt LaserBee II until it was in stock and ready to ship... We know how frustrating
it is to wait for something after it has been paid.
The 3.2 Watt LaserBee II uses the same new 8mm X 8mm Thermopile Sensor that the
Laserbee I uses but with a newly developed higher temperature coating.
These New LaserBee II + Thermopile Laser Power Meters have been upgraded
with a newly designed Red Solder Masked and Silk Screened PCB that now has an
RS232 connector right on the PCB and an included RS232 to USB converter cable
making the LaserBee II compatible with RS232 Ports and USB Ports
The New LaserBee II Thermopile heads now have a connector and are connected
by the supplied (longer) 18" shielded cable making it easier to disconnect for storage.
The New LaserBee II's Thermopile Sensors still measure 8mm X 8mm.
The LaserBee II can measure most Laser Wavelengths from about 300nm to 1200nm
and can now measure Laser output Powers from 3mW to 3200mW using the newly
coated Thermpile Sensor Heads. It has no problem to read the 405nm Blu-Ray LDs.
The LaserBee II Firmware has been re-designed from the ground up taking into
consideration that the user interface should be as close as possible to the LaserBee I
for a seamless user transition.
The 3.2 Watt LaserBee II now displays Laser powers from 3mW to 999.9mW in 0.1mW
increments and 1000mw to 3200mW in 1mW increments..
The 3.2 Watt LaserBee II products being offered here include the Data Logging feature...
the 3.2 Watt LaserBee II User Instructions and PC Interface Software on CD so that
you can record and save your test sessions and even print out Graphs of those sessions
(a helpful feature when selling Lasers...)
Whether you choose the Standard OEM model or the Deluxe Model... the LaserBee II...
is a small portable LPM that runs off a standard 9 Volt battery (we use rechargeable
NiMH 9Volts in the shop). A 9Volt AC wall adapter (wall wart) can also be used to power
the LaserBee II since we designed a 5Volt LDO regulator onto the PCB to make sure the
electronics stay accurate.
The LCD Backlight can also be switched ON or OFF by the Push Buttons to save power.
Not to forget the LCD Peak Detector display that can also be reset by a Push Button
at any time.
The LaserBee II + Thermopile products can be seen here on our Website... you can also
