Default My new 445 twins in action

    Hi Guys,

Just wanted to share some pics of my last show with my new 445nm twins @ 1W

The setup was quite difficult . The venue had 2 floors, stairs etc. So had to do a lot of measurements, the most part of the scanning area was only at 30% power But I had a small corridor where it could go 100%

Any comments/questions, let me know! Enjoy!

    Nice pics

Did you correct the beams ?
What beamsize and divergence did you achieve ?
Do you have more detailed pictures of your twin builds ?

    @ Edison

thanks for the comment, I also fell in love with this color You want to set your neighbours house on fire with 20W of blue ??

    @ Bart
I kept the build very simple since I didn't have to much time to prepare.
(The show was booked before I had them working )

It consist of Dave's brass diode mount with a aixis glass lens, mounted on a piece of aluminium. With a Die4Drive to drive the diode.Oh, and a Lasorb of course!

At 15m the beam spot was about 4x1 cm. So this comes down to a divergence of about 2.5-2.6 mrad

Since I only do beamshows with these, the high divergence is no problem. Also the shape of the beam was no problem in this setup. I also have some cylindrical lenses from DrLava here, but haven't had the time to test them. In some time I want to try to make the beam better with these.

    @ RGbee

    Thanks for the comment!

Hehe good idea!!!! Lets burn something But i think its better to sell them when they are finished. Hopefully the circuitboard comes soon so i can start building them and at the same time start working on my quad. The design is almost ready so as soon as some money is coming in then i give the metalshop the green light for manufacturing my quad
