    roithner have removed the lens27 from their web site.

    does anyone know the exact spec of the lens27?

    Anyone have an idea what to use instead?
    I am looking for 8 lens to do same job and need same specs

    Dave and I have been working on a lens assembly for reds with the glass and M9 x .5mm retainer and it's looking pretty good, Andy saw something very similar at the LEM and even with the diode slightly off position and the beam a bit distorted it was a better beam than the LENS 27 and would be ideal for 6 or even 8 diodes with no secondary collimation required.

    Literally working out the details now and should have some news soon, if you can hold for a while it may be worth it

    yep the lens simon brought to the meet was tip top.

    i have other plans for the lens27 so just need the spec

    I have a few of these lenses ordered, and ill be getting a retainer made, hopefully they shouldn't be too far off
