They got that professional grade meter there also... Jerry must be proud. Assuming that is actually their picture.

    Yes, it is their picture.

Yes, the LPM is from Jerry.

They got it after people on LPF convinced them to get a meter.

Good to see they're making use of it.

I bought one! Ill let you know how it goes. I don't have a good meter though, only a crappy lux meter.

well a lux meter acts on an entirely different principle.. don't bother with it

Yeah 1 watt/cm2 = 6830000 lux i think my meter only goes up to 500000lux!!! Obviously it wouldn't be accurate with all sorts of losses in the conversion.

Well i finally recieved the laser from price angels.

its bright! Clear night here and i can easily spot stars with it.

Very fine beam at the aperture, perhaps less than 1mm but does expand considerably over 100m. perhaps 100mm dia. Fairly even spot.

I know... all these adjectives don't help and all you people want is pictures and numbers!

For the price this is a very well crafted piece of kit with a nice bright diode. Cheep cheep like the budgie!

Ill try and post some pics later.

I got my two today, the beams look very very clean in both of them, no artifacts outside the beam. It actually has the cleanest beam out of any dpss green laser I have ever owned

They each came with a case and a 3000mah (of course its probably not that) ultrafire 18650 battery

    Power measured on lasercheck
    laser #1
No additional iR filter (if it has one) 139mw after no warm up
    With iR filter 72mw

    laser # 2
No additional iR filter (if it has one) 133mw after no warm up
    With iR filter 59mw

I am very happy with everything about them, beam, build quality and output power since i knew they were not going to be 500mw
