    Interesting customer photos appear to show it on a power meter at 131mw max and 117mw stable!

    Maybe it its possible to disassamble that thing an build a module with the parts ? What do you think ?

    with a proper heatsink and driver that would be a nice host for a casio diode i guess mayby something for our LPF freinds?

    Label is definitely 500mw max... LOL..... spot of lightning ... and UP goes the power!

    Proberly it uses a 500 mw pump diode and use that rating to make it. Look like a good buy,
    but a sticker on the side don't mean crap it just states <500mw so that could mean 50mw

    We had a bit of a discussion about this on 'the other forum'.

    The seller has explicitly stated that it isn't 500mW. Nobody's bought the thing yet, and AFAIK nobody's metered it apart from the photos on the site.

    If the module's anything like the ones DX carries, chances are it'd be crap. Several of us have had the crystals die in the past.
