    Default Blue is finally there!!!!

    Hello guys

Some people have noticed that i was busy with developing a quad module. But when the blue 445nm diodes where available i decided to develop a single blue module in between the development of the quad. I had to wait for some parts to come in but here its is:

    Brightlight laser 445-V1
Beam at aperture: 3.5 by 3.5 garanteed
    power: 1watt[C
Analog and TTL modulation up to 30 khz
    Size: 75mm x 40mm x 44mm
    Size driver 102x 60 x 34
Beamheight 29mm so it matches with CNI and Laserwave
Pl members price 445 euro including shipment.
    Warrenty 1 year after manufacturing

The module produces 1 watt of 445nm with a 3.5 by 3.5 beam at aperture. The divergence can be matched with your green and red when i know your spotsize at 10 meters. The lowest divergence is 0.9mrd but i prefer to match it with the customers green and red modules if they have them already. If they buy my upcoming red modules i will match my modules with the green modules that i,m going to choose.

The module is tec cooled by a peltier and the temperture is steady on 25 degrees. comes complete with driver and is tested to garantee the output.
Warrenty is one year. The size of the module is 75mm in length,40mm wide and 44mm in height. The housing is made out of aluminium and is black anodisized.

I ordered the labels so they will be there. I know many companies won,t show the internals but because most members know already how to shape the 445nm i decided
to show how i did it.

The dual and quad is on the way and will be manufactured next week.

If someone is interested i have 16 modules like these on my desk ready to be build in the next couple of weeks.

I have ordered a Laserbee deluxe to measure the output over a long period to garantee the 1 watt of blue within temperture range.

Want one shoot me a PM.

So brad your 445nm is almost ready to ship!!!

I want to thank the following members that made the development of the single module happen:

Synce. Ledpaint , blowfly, Photonfoundry, tocket, Specialbart and others that bought my case.
With the help of that money i could develop my blue modules. I want to give a special thanks to Hobbybob. He bought several times some stuff and never argued about price because he knew that i used his money to develop new things that could be at bennefit of his hobby. He bought two blue modules and was very satisfied with the quality. I will take it to the Lem in Ilpendam next December

Did you develop a tec driver too ?
Is available separately, or is it integrated in the driver ?

Its seperate and comes with the module.

I have asked several people that have the skills fo developing a driver but no one would help me so i decided to buy one that is already on the market.

The driver has analog and ttl modulation up to 30khz

    Great build Johan!

Very nice design, the 445nm diode is very sensitive to heat changes and the diode produces 2W of heat on a very small service. Your build will keep the diode temperature just perfect.

I also like the PCB on the back of the diode, very professional.

    Thanks guys

I also want to thank the guys who bought my quad and duals like magnus, synce and other because the development cost me a small fortune and without the quad and case buyers i couldn,t develop this little baby
