    Default Laserworld CS-400G

    Hi everyone,

This is my first post, but I have been reading through your forum for a couple of days now.

I have a Laserworld CS-400G v2 laser, only one for now, but I've been thinking of getting another.

Having gone through your forum I've noticed that there is a bit of... unhappyness with Laserworld products in some of your reviews. Now, I don't have any kind of laser power meter (although I'd quite like one) but is there a way to guesstimate the output power my 400G is actually producing? Should it burn stuff if I open it and put it in the beam for example? Or is it not high enough power for that?

I appreciate its hard to help with such little information, but thanks anyway.

300mw should smoke black tape almost instantly at the aperture, and put holes in it very quickly

I'll need to give it 5v from a constant supply to stop it modulating won't I?

    Thanks
