Ok, I needed a catchy title. The Frech government has banned indoor laser shows using class IV power levels. Details are sketchy, but it has came down the ILDA list and ILDA members have already had "trouble" with the ban.

Holy crap!
Doc's website
The Health and Safety Act 1971
Recklessly interfering with Darwin’s natural selection process, thereby extending the life cycle of dim-witted ignorami; thus perpetuating and magnifying the danger to us all, by enabling them to breed and walk amongst us, our children and loved ones.
I don't like this one bit. Steve, I would like to read more about it if you can get us a link.
felt i had to type something but cant help starting with the conspiracybullshit...
Curious for more info!
Evidently there are some difficult work arounds. I am in the middle of a critical, time sensitive project and can not devote any time right now. I just found out about this a hour ago, and I all I was shown was some heated comments down the ILDA list, which I do not subscribe to. If you need to know more I would suggest Patrick Murphy at ILDA as I know longer know any Laserists Francais.

More knee-jerk laws from pillocks that don't understand the real issues.
