Default few pics new RGB build

Just a few pics of my recent build. Decided to put the case of a defect argon to good use. It makes a nice little split level projector. Still it took me quite some effort to get everything to fit, especially the wiring is much more space consuming than I had originally thought.
Inside are now my old 100mW green, a 500mW 660nm red and the 1W 445. The red is driven by the P3 Flexmod and the 445 by the die4drive. The blue just fits on the galvo mirrors, which makes me pretty satisfied.
The lower level has 5 PSU: +/- 24 V for galvos, 5V for the red and fans, 12V for the 445, and the green's 5V PSU.
The big aluminum thing on the lower level is a air duct from the original PSU that is pressed against the bottom of the optical base plate. Two little fans suck the air through the duct out of the projector. The duct is half ribbed heat sink which makes an excellent heat transfer to the air.

Wow Zoof, nice clean build !
Did you had to take off one of the aluminium cooling strips of the JM Laser raytrack 35 plus 24 volt drivers to make it fit or do i see that wrong ?

Excellent man ! Will we see this on the LEM in Ilpendam ?

    greetz,
    Dimitri
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

Hey Dimitri, yes I will certainly take this to the LEM ! with some new soft that is turning out nicely, if only I can finish it on time.....
The two raytrack PSUs are mounted on top of each other so you can only see the one on top. Both are unmodified. But stacked they are 60 mm high and the space allows 62 mm, a tight sqeeze.
The smaller PSU you see is for 12V and is stacked with a 5V one and the same space constraints.
Finally a real case, my previous 12kg open build was just too cumbersome.

    CU at the LEM!!

    Hey Matthijs,
Looks nice and tight! I am sure you'll enjoy the added portability (as will the people who happen to be where you take it). When Zoof says "new soft", it's time for the popcorn icon!
    Very cool!

    WOW Zoof!
    Rock solid!
Looking at third picture, alignment and white balance seem to be great both.
    Good job!

haha, to me that picture is crystal clear but I can imagine it is a big ? to others. When Star Wars I came out, me and a roommate we designing our own pod racers in 3DS Max for a while. This one was inspired on the SR-71 Blackbird. One rendering became a test-case for developing OLA, and then my avatar since the blue-orange was just so nice.
