Thanks for all the kind words, guys. Everything is going much better than expected. My Doc just came in to see me, and he's very pleased with how the surgery went. He's signing my discharge papers now, so I should be out of the hospital in another hour or so. Also, he OK'd me to go back to work next Thursday (light duty of course), so that's cool. (Saves me some vacation.)

Good news is that the nerve pain that was in my hip (and shooting down my leg) is completely gone. The incision hurts a bit, but that will pass in a day or two. So I'd call it a rousing success. Now I just need to pay all the bills! But it will be worth it to be rid of the pain...

Again, thanks for all the well wishes. Rest assured that I will be more careful with my lifting in the future! And I'm definitely a "GO" for the Knoxville LEM in December. Gonna be a great time!
