But didn't you recommend a minimum of 1W of 445nm for every 100mW of 532nm?

    "Just sayin'!"
No. I didn't say 1w for colour balance, I said 1 watt for luminosity. 1 watt would be way out of balance even if it was the same for luminosity.

Just for reference, you will be fine with the same amount of 640 as 532, even tough whitelight suggests 1.5x

My reason for suggesting 150mW is that its a single diode of 640, rather than 2, which is far more likely to come within budget.

I have less of 640 than blue or green but get by fine

Ok, I have PM'ed laserlinna to hear if those custom powers are possible.

So if I get around 150mw green, I need to dial back 445nm to 150mW also?
How bright is that? Enough for a 15*10 m hall?

Default LaserKing Delivers great system !

I was hesatant, but I finally ordered a RGB system from LaserKing.
I am very pleased with the product received, highly recommend them !
    Green laser(532nm)200mw, Red laser(635nm)600mw, Blue laser(400nm)300mw
I also upgraded the scanners to the 40kpps Galvo,
Using Quick Show system has performed perfectly !
I simply added a few modifications like a key lock, and EMO. Button

I'll follow up too. I ended up buying 2 X-Laser Pyro green lasers. I talked to their CEO and sales reps and felt like they provided a solid product, so I went ahead and expanded my laser collection.

I'm very pleased with the purchase and have been putting off writing up a real review, but maybe someday soon!

Hey Sspinball, I'm in Texas as well and I'm looking for a RGB laser system to use with Quick Show also.

I was wondering which model you bought and if you purchased it directly through the company. I didn't see any prices listed on their site so I assume you have to contact them directly.

Also is the laser approved to use in the U.S.? I mean is there documentation for the variance to use?

I've been looking a LaserWorlds lasers also, but from what I read in the earlier posts they may not have clearance to introduce their Lasers into the U.S. I'll have to do some more checking on that.

    Be wary of Laserworld:

It would appear some people got very different lasers to what they ordered power wise. 14 page thread on it!

    Thanks White-Light!

I've been searching for and researching before I buy. I'm still new to the higher quality lasers and don't want to get screwed that's why I joined this forum to get more information before making the leap. Thanks again for the heads up!!

Try contacting X-Laser if you're after a pre-built cost effective approved laser in the US
    Frikkin Lasers

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

Thanks for the information, I'll give X-Laser a look to see what they offer.
