Default My first Lumia generator .. supported by LEGO

    Well..

This is my first Lumia project
After some tips from Yadda I decide to try make one myself. :P

And remember when you se the pictures that this is more expensive
and maybe more powerful stuff than yaddas 16bit DAC and other MIT project out here…………

This is so advanced technic that only a 5year old child understand it… ehm.. 8)

Here is the pictures (To bad you can’t se all the LUMIA effect because the bad cam and to close pictures)

And here is the unique machine that produce the light

It`s a extremly slow-rotating broken glass disk, found in the trash !!
The engine is a RC-servo with gear+some more LEGO gears to slow it more down :P

Notice the neat heatsink on the 10mW lasermodule
It`s a heatsink that is supposed to be on my electric-Heli tail engine
    It`s a perfect fit around the laser-module

    Naa it was easy

I just want a el-motor that dont make so much noise!
And tomorrow i`m going to the city to se if I can get some better glass

I use my 10mW red module now, (becouse I have my 100mW in a leadlight)
But with the 100mW red one the effect is MUCH better

personally i think the red one is more pretty to use than the green one...

pretty smooth effect..just another thing to play with

Im using a motor and gearing from a DVD drive for mine
Just a Thought,.. I hope your Kid dont want to play with your setup now
