I am looking for any info I can get on this scanner. Maybe a manual or wiring diagram. Here is a pic.

Email me larger pictures, pop the hood and get as many detailed shots as you can.

Pay close attention to any notes left on the inside.

I'll give it a good once over and see what i can find out and post the pictures here for others to possibly help out.

On a side note: Where are you located?

I was going to get pics to you but I found out a few things about the unit.
I took the hard drive out and hooked it up to my computer and found it has a dos based laser show progam on it with over 6500 frames and a bunch of shows on it. All the software is dated 1996. It also has a 486 motherboard with CD rom, soundblaster card and a custom hardware driver card looks a little like the QM32. It also has a three channel scanner amp X,Y,and I.
I think I will gut it and use the case the XY mount and heatsink and get rid of the rest.

    Astroguy Welcome Aboard

Thats a pretty neat looking box...
Self contained .. Have you tried to make it work?

    It might be great as-is.

I am interested to see what they used for a servo board.
Because I have a 3 channel board I am trying to Identify and
    make work..

Take some pix of inside to box , We'd like to see

OK, I will get some PICS posted. I have not got it to work because it is missing the galvos and laser. I do have an argon I could put in it but untill I can get infor on the scanner amp I would not try to hook it up. I have no wiring diagram.

What kind of software and show files where on that system?
You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads!
