Thumbs up And The 2010 Groupbuy Awards go to...

Nothing wrong with a little competition.
We should come up with a little award, like a medal glyph (gold silver bronze) to be worn the members signature, to reward them for their hard work.

It would be nice if one could choose more than one person.

All the GB's I participated in went without a hitch and are much appreciated.

Oh god, you're making us choose!!??

By what criteria? Most useful, most time invested in getting the right product for the job, most time invested in harvesting (dan wins!), etc, etc...

    It's bloody impossible

Daniel briggs he made a lot of members happy with the diodes. Simon did a very well organized groupbuy for the prisms so they are my favorites. To be honest i admit i could have done better. Allot of members had to wait quite a while for getting their case. The same as Dr lava with his high quility modules, good product but the groupbuy could be better organized in therms of response and delivery time. Ok i will vote for simon, well organized and quick delivery.

I think it has to be dan, purely because he stepped up to the plate when the projectors emerged, and offered to do a projectors worth of diodes, which then grew into a bit of a monster ending up at 10+ projectors (iirc)

But I think we have to give thanks to everyone who organises GB's really, its a lot of effort to service the needs of the folk here, and generally for more effort than returns

    i second that!!

a great deal of gratitude is owed to the guys that run GBs

and an even great ammount should go to the guys that actually construct something and then run a GB

without them, all of us that are not so much tech guys would be spending time, effort and money with no proportional outcome in researching and building and getting frustrated

    Evening All!
Well it's all been kinda emotional, bit like the oscars! (wipes tear away) Dan and Simon both deserve big respect here IMO.
Just seems strange that Andyf97 got no votes.............is it rigged??

    Cheers
