Best you can hope for Andy is prob window draught excluder or similar - its my guess that most of the pro kit will have purpose made seals

If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.

    Hi Andy,

What you need is an o-ring supplier. You can buy this material my the meter/foot and they also sell the special glue to join the ends. Some even customer make to size in reasonably small quantities.

I have used this material myself in work projects, for IP67 sealed military enclosures.

It has been my experience that every major city and most minor ones in the Western world have a place that sells orings, belts, bearings, gears, seals, shafts, and hydraulic hoses within a half hour's drive of the city. Most do not advertise themselves, because they almost always have a continuous stream of business. Our local one has a sign on the door: "If we're not here, just slip the money under the door"

Usually if you ask the mechanics, machinists, technicians, and heating/air conditioning people in town, they will know right where to send you. Because of the huge need, the parts are often pretty cheap, but well made.
